As the VP of Clinical Outreach, Mia is responsible for recruiting clinicians from SLU Hospital, Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, and other SSM facilities and maintaining active communication with participating clinicians throughout the year.

Mia grew up in Manassas, Virginia, and graduated from the University of Virginia in 2012 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. While at UVA she was involved in the creation of a device called PuzzleCast: a modular casting system to reduce muscle atrophy and decrease overall healing time after immobilization, which won a 2012 Popular Science Invention of the Year Award.

After two years away from school, Mia moved to St. Louis to pursue a degree in medicine at Saint Louis University. She will graduate in 2018 and will pursue a residency in Pediatrics. Mia is excited to join the MEDLaunch team and for the opportunity to bring together her passions for engineering and medicine.
